LEARN & IMPROVE

Master the Number Trail

Learn how to plan routes, use checkpoints and avoid dead ends.

🧭

Plan your route

Look at the numbered checkpoints before moving. Consider how your path can reach them without trapping unused squares.

💡

Use the edges

Pay attention to corners and narrow spaces. They offer fewer possible directions, so plan those moves carefully.

🎯

Finish every square

Connecting the checkpoints is only part of the challenge. Your route must cover the entire grid exactly once.

How Number Trail works

Number Trail is a path-finding logic puzzle. Begin at the cell marked 1, then move one square at a time up, down, left or right. Pass through each numbered checkpoint in ascending order without visiting a square twice. The puzzle is complete when all squares are included in one continuous trail.

For smaller boards, try 4 × 4. For a longer challenge, select 5 × 5 or 6 × 6. Daily puzzles provide a repeatable challenge, while Practice lets you start a fresh board whenever you like.
